A Kathmandu - bound SpiceJet flight was stopped from taking off here on Monday and its passengers and crew were evacuated following a bomb threat.
Flight 9W263 was about to take off at 1. 25 p. m. when an anonymous caller telephoned the police at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, saying a bomb had been placed in the plane.
"All the passengers were safely evacuated. A thorough search of the plane is being conducted, " Deputy Commissioner of Police Dinesh Kumar Gupta told IANS.
