In support of government initiatives like "Make in India", "Digital India", "Smart Cities" and "Start up India", several Taiwan - based Information and Communication Technology (ICT) brands on Wednesday displayed their advanced products at the ongoing Convergence India 2018 expo here.
These products and solutions were felicitated by Taiwan Excellence which honours Taiwan's innovative products that provide value to users worldwide based on outstanding R&D, design, quality, marketing and Made in Taiwan merits.
Taiwan Excellence, which is participating in the three - day expo - - which kicked off at Pragati Maidan on Wednesday - - for the second consecutive time, reiterated its commitment to align with India's digital development mission.
"By participating in Convergence India 2018, we wished to share our expertise in the field of ICT with other Indian as well as global companies.
We have been able to build some great partnerships through this expo, " Mario Tasi, Deputy Director of the Strategic Marketing Department at Taiwan Excellence, said in a statement.
Among the featured brands during Convergence India 2018 are gaming products manufacturer MSI, laptop maker ASUS, GIGAbyte that supplies motherboards, graphic cards and computer notebooks among others.
Convergence India expo is a platform to showcase the latest trends and technologies related to telecom, broadcast, Cloud and Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT) among others.
