External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who was admitted to the AIIMS on Monday due to chest congestion and fever continues to remain under observation of a team of doctors, the hospital said on Wednesday.
"A medical team of specialists continues to monitor her.
Her current condition is stable and she is showing signs of improvement, " the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said in a statement.
Sushma Swaraj was admitted to the AIIMS on Monday with fever and chest congestion with features of pneumonia.
She has been a cardiac patient for long, said doctors.
