The prime minister wrote back to Rownaque Jahan Shejuti and attached a photograph of herself, which the postal service has taken to the girl's home in Mograpara village in Sonargaon, Naraynganj.
A student in second grade at Promise Child Academy in Sonargaon, Shejuti was overjoyed after receiving the response on Sunday.
“My daughter is ecstatic about receiving the letter! She looks at the photograph of the prime minister frequently, ” Shejuti’s mother Najma Begum told bdnews24. com on Sunday evening.
Shejuti lost her grandmother in November of last year and wrote to the prime minister on Mar 25 this year.
