The United Kingdom government has announced a change to its immigration rules, allowing Indonesians to get a student visa more easily.
The UK Visas and Immigration agency will have fewer documentary requirements for Tier 4 student visa applicants from Indonesian nationals under the changes, which were announced Tuesday.
The documents no longer required are: evidence of finances, qualifications and evidence of English language ability.
This new regulation will come into effect on Jul. 6.
In addition, Indonesian students will be eligible to benefit from the new rule whether they apply for the visa from within Indonesia or elsewhere.
