Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he likes to read a page from his late father and poet Harivanshrai Bachchan's work in the morning every day as it strengthens him to tackle obstacles in life.
Amitabh read "Jan Gita", a poetic rendition of the Bhagavad Gita in Awadhi language of northern India, on Saturday.
"On reading the 'Jan Gita' this morning a revelation. . .
Will need a proper forum to describe it.
But revelation all the same, " Amitabh posted on his blog.
"Read a page each morning my father left me with.
I do and strengthen myself.
This strength is divine and of divinity.
They are never wrong, " the "Piku" actor added.
Harivanshrai, who died in 2003, is credited with works like "Madhushala" and "Agneepath".
The "Paa" actor is often seen reciting Harivanshrai's poems and has called him a "unique genius" on several occasions.
