Last month Pakistan army had conducted a very risky and dangerous rescue mission and successfully rescued two British mountaineers who were stranded on Ultar Sar mountain located in Hunza valley.
The rescue mission was one of the most dangerous of missions the army had to take on.
Today, Pakistan army once again conducted a very daring rescue mission which had them rescuing a Russian mountaineer Alexander Gukov who was trapped on Latok - I peak which is 20, 650 feet above the sea level.
This is the first Pakistan army rescue mission conduct on such a height, making it the highest rescue mission ever conducted on such a height.
The mission took at least six days of planning and hard work by Pak army. The individual was successfully rescued today’s morning by a Pak army chopper.
The news of the success of the mission was made by ISPR which stated that Gukov had completely run out of food and was without any supplies for the last three days.
