TV presenter and adventurer Frank Cuesta's journey in the Himalayan foothills in Nepal and through the dry forests and the mangroves of the Sundarbans in India in search of the "last Bengal tiger" has been captured for Discovery's new show "Wild Frank in India".
Cuesta travelled to the banks of the Ganges River in India and Nepal to embark on, what he describes, as "the wildest and (an) amazing journey of my life".
"It took 20 intense days to find a Bengal tiger.
That was one of the real fights of the century, " Cuesta said in a statement.
Cuesta begins his adventure in a Buddhist monastery in the mountains of Nepal and continues his voyage across the country and in India to find the Bengal tiger.
He wants to get to the "last Bengal tiger" to show it in its natural wild state.
"It is one of the most endangered species on the planet.
Just a few survive in freedom and it is almost as difficult to see them in their habitat as close to them and observe them in their natural wild state.
The destruction of their home has become the king of the Asian jungle in a nomadic species that hides lurking all living to attack at any time, " Cuesta said.
"Wild Frank in India" will beam on Discovery Channel in India on June 10.
