why we use 'did' what happen if we use do ?

Dear Ravi, we use Did when we describe something about the past for example I did that = Maine ye kiata And we use do when we describe something about our regular work or job I do that = mai ye karta hoo Do is used for present simple tense. Give me upvotes if you like the answer thankyou :)
