I bought a new car is correct. Because the past tense of 'buy' is 'bought' and the past tense of 'bring' is 'brought'.

here brought means "took" and bought means "purchased" so the write answer is " i bought (purchased) a new car" and there is no meaning for " i brought a new car" but it has meaning for " i brought a car for rent"
