If you want to become chartered accountant the first step is you need to register yourself with ICAI. ICAI i.e Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is the only authority who offers the chartered accountancy course and conducts exams related to it. There are three exams which you need to pass to become chartered accountant (CA). This course involves 3 different stages : CPT IPCC Final course The minimum qualification required to apply CA Course is 12th standard. After completing your 12th you are eligible to apply CPT Exam. It is helpful for you if you have taken the commerce stream. But candidates with any stream are eligible to become CA. For further information visit : http://www.icai.org
