Noun is a name of a person, place or thing. 1.Akbar is a great emperor. (Akbar is name of a person) 2. Hyderabad is a big city. (Hyderabad is name of a place) 3. that is a blackboard. (board is name of a thing) Adjective means a word which adds something to the meaning of a Noun.. It's a qualifier of a Noun. From 1.great, 2. big, 3. Black are adjectives.

"Noun" is used to refer to a name of a person, thing, animal, or place. "Adjective" is used to describe a verb Example:- This is Taj Mahal.(Taj Mahal is a noun) He is running fast.(Fast is an adjective)
