I'm still confused when do we have to use 'about to' , 'supposed to' and 'to + infinitive' what is the difference between these three?? plzz explain I'm very confused about the usage of "supposed to" and "about to".

'About to' is used when something is going to happen. Ex: The train is about to leave the station. 'supposed to ' is used to express imagination. Ex : The project is supposed to be finished by the end of the month. ' to +verb ' is used to express purpose of some activity. Ex : I need a rubber to rub out the mistake.

hi. about to is similar to ( is going to happen , was something going to happen ) . as . the rain is going to happen , u can always say the rain is about to come .
