Hello sir, Inspite of and despite of are similar, but confusion is in the usage. As you have it, it is not correct. 'In spite' is two words, and often used with the word 'of'. Despite is not used together with the 'of'. "I loved her in spite of her past." So you do something (love her) even though you know something that might persuade you to think twice. "I went outside despite the rain." Here you are acting in defiance. I don't care that it is raining because I am still going outside. The words and phrases have similar meanings, but they are used slightly differently. Often, you can use them interchangeably, but as I've shown in the examples above.
