I ate (past simple) I have eaten (present perfect_ plural ) He has eaten (present perfect _ singular) I was ate, I eaten.. are wrong sentences. V1 eat_ v2_ate v3_ eaten.. V2 never be used with a helping verb. V3 never be used without a have form in the active voice. I had eaten (past perfect)
