I am just confused where we use suppose in sentences?

to assume to be true, as for the sake of argument or to illustrate a proof:  suppose A equals B to believe, think, guess, etc.:  

to think that something is likely to be true: Dan didn't answer his phone, so I suppose (that) he's busy.
