As you wrote here that the relative clauses help connect two separate sentence.Could you tell me please why you didn't use infinitive after 'help'?

We don't use infinitive after "help" because "help" is a bare infinitive verb and after any bare infinitive verb,we cannot use infinitive. Ex:- She will not let you help him.
