In simple present tense, we use s/es in verb with he,she,it,any name, singular subject and we don't use s/es in verb with I,we,you,they, plural subject. Ex:- He reads a book. We do it daily.

We use s/es for singular subject. Like: He,she,it etc. example:-My mother watches tv in the living room. Here we use "es" because mother is singular subject. we don't use s/es for plural subject. like: They, we etc. example:-we play cricket in the ground.
