have your children ever had chocalate cake? but in previous lesson why "has" was used with your i e has your brother ever been to italy? please answer anyone

Children are plural so we use "Have". Brother is singular so we use "Has".

in first sentence:- had is used as a main verb just like take... and since it's in v3 therefor used "had"... you can say in this way also.... have your children ever took chocolate cake? in 2nd sentence:- has is used helping verb as a present perfect tense.. you can say in this way also... has your brother ever gone to itly?
