if lion is the King of Jungle then why tiger is the national animal

 There are two reasons that the lion is the king of jungle but tiger is the national animal .First reason is that tigers are found in about 16 States and lion are only found in Gujarat and the second reason is that the tiger are more active than lion.

Because we don't want to rule on the world like king as we are non-aligned and secular country. But we want to progress like a tiger as its the fastest animal in world that's why our national animal is tiger. Thank you. Rahul.
