hi...I have a doubt regarding verd . here we're using would/had which are past form so which verb should either V1 or V2

had is past form to have. ex: he had a big house. would is conditional and respective verb ex: would you like to have a cup of coffee? ( this is respective), if i had billion dollars I would have bought a aeroplane ( this is conditional)
