what is the difference between possessive pronoun and possessive adjective

Possessive pronoun...... Me, you,them,him etc. Possessive adjective..... My,your,their,his,her etc. Remember one thing that noun always comes after possessive adjective. ex-My car. Your pen. His bag etc.

Possessive pronoun - After a possessive pronoun, we never use a noun. Mine, ours, yours, theirs, hers, his all are possessive pronoun. For ex:- Your hair is curly but mine is straight. Possessive adjective - After a possessive adjective, we always use a noun. My, our, your, her, his, their are possessive adjective. Ex:- His wife is really beautiful.

A possessive adjective is always followed by a noun. Examples are: your phone, my brother, his dog etc. A possessive pronoun is used without a noun. Examples are: his, hers, yours, theirs, ours, mine etc.
