how to use is and does while making question give some examples

"is" - state of being , present continuous tense... 1)she is good. is she good?... 2)he is going to school.. is he going to school?.. 3)she is in trouble.. is she in trouble?.. 4)her condition is very serious. is her condition very serious?.. "does" -- actions.(simple present tense) we use does for third person singular. 1)she cooks well. does she cook well?.. 2)he goes to college every day... does he go to college every day?... I know this much....

Both Is and does are used in present tense as a helping verb for asking questions. Is - is used in simple present tense (when there is no mainland verb in the given sentence) and in present continuous tense. Does - is only used in simple present tense when there is a main verb in the given sentence. Where, Is/ does - with he, she,it, any single name, singular subject. In simple present tense, For ex:- Is she really upset? Is he good? Does her mother not cook food? Does the boy study well? In present continuous tense, Is he going there today? Is the girl reading this book now?
