In the latest version, there are two kinds of challenges available here. The first is spellathon challenge. By clicking on this feature, you can compete in word meaning with your friends. The second one is Quizathon challenge. By clicking on this feature, you can compete in sentences with your friends or any other random competitor.

last update was aired before 2 days.yeah they added some new features- we can challenge anyone we want to, first we had just random choice available and could challenge our followers only. - and ms the kind of update you are talking about is not new, we could see our ranks globally or city wise before this update.
