there are two sentences which are "baby is sleeping three hours now " and another "baby has been sleeping for three hours ", second one is correct and that showed in lesson but I want know first also can be correct because let a situation

1st is not correct... 2nd is correct perfect continuous tense

second sentence is correct . Baby has been sleeping for three hours.

where baby was ill but now he is well , and his mom was telling he is taking good sleep now then we can use above sentence

No , first one is wrong because we never mention time duration in present continuous tense. Here in your first sentence you mentioned "three hours" which should be mentioned in present perfect continuous tense according to the grammatical rules. so your senteaces should be like: The baby is sleeping now.(or) The baby has been sleeping for three hours now.
