Hello Friends! I hope that you will fine:-) I want to know your one most favourite Couplet (sher). So please Reply me that which is your favourite couplet? and Why?

nice question dear, but I am not interested in couplet... I like jokes, cartoon, stories, but unfortunately never I tried to understand the couplet so I am not interested in this^_^

My favorite Couplet Is .... "Na tu Zamee k lye Hain na Asma K lye Jaha Hain terai lye Tu nahi jaha k lye" I like it because in this Allama Iqbal says ' that don't do a lot of efforts to live a happy life because it's not a permanent life we should effort for the day of judgement it's the real life and whatever we do here we have to pay for it on the day of judgement especially for bad things '

My one of the most favourite couplet is "Apne Man mai duub kar pa ja Suragh-e-Zindagi Tu agar maira nhi banta na ban apna to ban" This is a Famous sher of Famous poet Allama Iqbal. I like it for it's simplicity as well as message for our Life that we should Bring out the best in ourself. We should search the secret of our Life in ourself.

I am not able to understand the meaning of Couplet... Sorry...!

My favorite couplet is : khudi ko kar buland itna k har taqdeer sy pehly , khuda banday sy khud poachy bta Teri raza kya hai . In this couplet Allama Iqbal has explored " khudi " as a subject in depth in it . The idea of self is the realisation of man's ownself by man himself , the understanding of one's relation with the creation and the creator is described . The feeling of self is heightened as man's spiritual journey progress to the extent that man is able to exporehis true power . Therefore , I like it .

I saw a star but it was far it was in the sky I don't like to lie I wanted to fly so I could touch the sky. This is one of my favourite couplets. Because I always enjoy the beauty of our universe as it is infinite beyond our thoughts...
