difference between altitude and latitude

Assume Sea level as base now upward distance (height) at any place on earth from average sea level is called Altitude.simply it is distance so meter is its unit. there r two poles North n South . an imaginary line which divides earth is called Equator. Latitude expresses ur north n south position with respect to Equator.it is angle wrt to equator, measured in Degree.

#Altitude- Height of something (level/data height). #Latitude- Range of something (Degree/angle range).

Latitude refers to the distance of a location on Earth's surface from the equator in relation to the North and South poles whereas altitude is defined as how high a location is above sea level.
