Why do some people smoke?

Because they think that by smoking they can get relief in their stress.

Serious question....!!! I don't know why...?? Maybe they don't lov themselves... Whatever the answer, but this is not right.. We all know that smoking is a sweet poison that dies us slowly - slowly from inside...

It is a great bad addition and without smoke they don't get happiness.

it starts as fashion and day by day it becomes habbit. excessive amount of anything is harmful.. it may be food,alchohal,sweet etc.. for example smoking is helpful for me.. i decide my daily task aftr compltng it i do smoking to reward myself.

smoking does not give relief. .....It kills. .....It can cause cancer. .......people should give up smoking. ......It is dangerous for health

I don't know the reason as I don't smoke. But what all I can say is once they are accustomed to it, it might give them some relieve whenever they are in stress or at leisure.
