I buy books (me am kyo nhi lagta)

I buy books- ye present indefinite tense hai isme am nhi aayega. am = helping verb hai jo present continuous tense me use hota hai.

I buy books is the present indefinite tense.and buy is a verb so I don't use am. when we talk about our profession so i use am. Ex. I am a student. I am a teacher.etc
