1. Photo Album: If you share more than four pictures on WhatsApp, all the pictures get clubbed to form an album.
2. Replying to specific messages: If you want to reply to a specific message in a chat, just click on the message and click on the reply symbol, it is an arrow turned to the left.
3. Starred messages: You can mark any message as "starred". To find these messages in future, just go to the starred messages section in the settings.
4. Hiding blue ticks: These are called the read receipts and can be found under the settings section: Settings - Account - Privacy. If you don't want people to know that you have read their messages, and want to get rid of that blue tick, then toggle this button and switch them off. But, once you have turned this button off, you won't be able to see whether the other person has read your message or not.
5. Mute Chats: If you don't want to receive notifications with sound on your device, you can manually select an individual chat or a group chat and select 'Mute'. It can be found under a person's contact info on WhatsApp.
