1. Breathy: used to describe voice or way of speaking in which the breath can be heard.

2. Thin: faint and high pitched.

3. Brittle: unpleasantly hard and sharp and showing signs of instability or nervousness.

7. Gruff: rough and low in pitch.

8. Gravelly: deep and rough sounding.
