Prior to his departure from India at the conclusion of his two - day bilateral visit, Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom called on President Pranab Mukherjee at Rahtrapati Bhavan here on Monday evening.

Earlier on Monday, Yameen and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held delegation - level bilateral talks following which India and Maldives exchanged six agreements, including ones on cooperation in defence and space research.
President Yameen started the day by holding a meeting with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who called on him.
