 The Delhi government has decided to offer free pilgrimage trips to city residents above the age of 60 years, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday. 
The decision was taken in cabinet meeting here. 
The five destinations from which citizens can choose include Mathura Vrindavan, Haridwar Rishikesh, Pushkar Ajmer, Amritsar Anandpur Sahib, and the Vaishno Devi Temple. 
The state goverment will fund the travel, stay, and food expenses of eligible citizens. 
Each trip will be of three days and two nights and 1, 100 people will be selected from each Assembly constituency for the trips in year. 
Sisodia didn't give date from which the trips will begin, but said that they will be started soon.
