The Australian Consulate General in Bali, along with representatives from the New Zealand Embassy in Jakarta, held a small dawn service at the former’s office in Bali on Wednesday to commemorate Anzac Day.
Around 200 Australian and New Zealand citizens living in Bali attended the event to honor the servicemen and women who served their nation in times of war, conflicts and in peacekeeping operations.
“As we pause to honour the past and the Anzac spirit, we also recognize today’s veterans, the young men and women who have returned from places like Afghanistan and Iraq. We honour their sacrifice through our remembrance” said Australian Consul General Helena Studdert.
