 To curb poll related violence in West Bengal, the Election Commission on Monday instructed the state police chief to submit detailed reports of pre, post and post poll violence at periodic intervals. 
"The Election Commission has instructed the director general of police to monitor all pre, post and poll day violence and submit the incident wise detailed report at periodical intervals for each of the phases. 
This will be monitored directly by the EC from its Delhi headquarters, poll panel official said here.
