"There will be a mainly clear sky ahead in the day. However, shallow or moderate fog is likely to occur in the morning, " an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
The humidity at 8. 30 a. m. was 97 percent, with the visibility standing at 400 metres.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 23. 4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 9 degrees Celsius.
