if you want to master anything, you should get obsessed with it. Think about it all the time. Look for the opportunity to learn and practice the learned skills. It's a continuous process which may be difficult initially but later it becomes easier and automatic. To maintain continuity, you must enjoy the process so try different kind of games like crossword, participate in WhatsApp discussion etc.

Today someone said that he was not able to speak fluently in front of few people. I think in this case, the person is too much afraid of making mistakes which is detrimental to speaking fluently. He may be imagining what will happen if he makes mistakes? How will others react? The fear factor can affect any skills particularly fluency in speaking. First thing is get comfortable with making mistakes. There is no need to feel ashamed if you are making mistakes especially when you are a beginner. The atmosphere plays an important part in any form of growth. Create a group or find people who are supportive and make as many mistakes as you want and learn to correct them also. Tell yourself firmly before jumping into the debate that your only motto is learning English and nothing else. Especially try to support/ defend side which is weaker or even wrong. Because you need creativity, powerful skill and effective words to defend the weaker side. During the process your language is bound to improve. (Of course you can always give a disclaimer like * I am joking/ Don't take my comments seriously etc so that you won't end up hurting anyone)
