West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday expressed her condolences over deaths due to a tragic stampede in Mumbai and also prayed for speedy recovery of injured persons.

In a Dussehra - eve tragedy, at least 22 persons were killed in a stampede on a narrow railway footover bridge connecting the Parel - Elphinstone Road stations of Western Railway on Friday morning.
